Financial Assistance and Scholarships

At Âé¶¹Éç, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of a comprehensive arts education regardless of financial background. We offer a range of financial aid options including bursaries and study awards.

Selected Âé¶¹Éç students with outstanding achievements in the artistic, academic and affective domains are identified and awarded scholarships. These scholarships are made possible through grants and donations.

Funded by The Ngee Ann Kongsi and the Âé¶¹Éç Student Assistance Fund (SAF), bursary packages offer tiered subsidies for school and miscellaneous fees ranging from 33% to 100%, providing financial assistance to eligible Âé¶¹Éç students.


The table below provides information and criteria for the bursary packages. Financial assistance benefits are funded by The Ngee Ann Kongsi and Âé¶¹Éç Student Assistance Fund (SAF).


The bursary packages are available to Singapore citizens only.

Bursary Package 1

  • Students will receive 100% subsidy for Âé¶¹Éç school and miscellaneous fees
  • Annual book allowance of:
    • $250 (Years 1 to 4)
    • $600 (Years 5 to 6)
    • Students on short-term bursary packages will receive pro-rated book allowance
  • Annual arts allowance of $100 (Years 1 to 6)
  • Uniform allowance covering 2 sets of school uniform and 2 sets of PE attire
  • Transport allowance of $21 per month
  • Monthly meal allowance of $8.20 per school day
  • 100% subsidy of International Baccalaureate (IB) examination fees
  • UPLIFT scholarship of $1,200 per year (subject to meeting UPLIFT scholarship criteria)

Bursary Package 2

$4,001 – $5,500

$1,001 – $1,375

  • Students will receive a subsidy for Âé¶¹Éç school and miscellaneous fees, and pay equivalent to GGAS (Government and Government-aided schools) fees
  • Annual book allowance of:
    • $250 (Years 1 to 4)
    • $500 (Years 5 to 6)
    • Students on short-term bursary packages will receive pro-rated book allowance
  • Annual arts allowance of $50 (Years 1 to 6)
  • Uniform allowance covering 1 set of school uniform and 1 set of PE attire
  • Transport allowance of $16 per month
  • UPLIFT scholarship of $1,200 per year (subject to meeting UPLIFT scholarship criteria)

Bursary Package 3

$5,501 – $9,000

$1,376 – $2,250

  • Students will receive a subsidy for Âé¶¹Éç school and miscellaneous fees, and pay equivalent to 1.5 times GGAS (Government and Government-aided schools) fees
  • Annual book allowance of:
    • $100 (Years 1 to 4)
    • $200 (Years 5 to 6)
    • Students on short-term bursary packages will receive pro-rated book allowance
  • Annual arts allowance of $50 (Years 1 to 6)
  • Uniform allowance covering 1 set of school uniform and 1 set of PE attire
  • Transport allowance of $16 per month

Bursary Package 4

$9,001 – $12,000

$2,251 – $3,000

  • Students will receive 33% subsidy for Âé¶¹Éç school and miscellaneous fees
  • Annual book allowance of:
    • $100 (Years 1 to 4)
    • $200 (Years 5 to 6)
    • Students on short-term bursary packages will receive pro-rated book allowance
  • Annual arts allowance of $25 (Years 1 to 6)
  • Uniform allowance covering 1 set of school uniform and 1 set of PE attire
  • Transport allowance of $16 per month
ÌýTerms and Conditions
  1. The above Âé¶¹Éç Student Financial Support (Âé¶¹Éç-SFS) Schemes are applicable exclusively to the bursary recipients and is not transferable.
  2. Âé¶¹Éç-SFS recipients cannot be recipients of any other full scholarships or bursaries administered by external organisations, except COMCARE, MOE scholarships, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) bursaries and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF).
  3. Students may receive both a bursary or scholarship for fees administered by Âé¶¹Éç. Should a student qualify for both, the student would be offered the amount with the higher dollar value.
  4. No bond is required from Âé¶¹Éç-SFS recipients.
  5. Âé¶¹Éç-SFS recipients must accept and comply with all Âé¶¹Éç policies, by-laws, rules and regulations. Policies, by-laws, rules and regulations may be revised, amended or supplemented by Âé¶¹Éç at the School’s absolute discretion from time to time.
  6. Decisions by the Âé¶¹Éç Bursary Committee are final.Ìý

Application Procedure

  1. Parents who wish to apply for Âé¶¹Éç-SFS Schemes are to download and complete the application form in the Parent’s Portal.
  2. All applications are to be submitted together with the relevant documents.
  3. Applications with incomplete information and/or not accompanied by supporting documents will not be processed.
  4. Processing of bursary application documents requires at least 3 working weeks.
  5. Âé¶¹Éç will process your application promptly if you have provided theÌýcomplete information, inclusive of complete required documents. If the application is approved, it will take effect on the first day of the following month.
  6. All bursaries will be valid until 31 December every year, unless otherwise stated. If you require further financial assistance beyond the period approved, please submit a new bursary application. Fresh applications will have to be submitted for each academic year.
  7. The School will inform students and parents on the outcome of their applications.

All students regardless of nationality are eligible for the SAF. This fund provides support to students who are in need of financial assistance due to special/sudden circumstances, temporary financial challenges or require further financial assistance.

Students who wish to apply for the SAF may obtain the SAF Application Form from the School’s Administration Office.

Usually funded by self-help groups or other organisations, these initiatives are designed to help eligible families with education-related expenses.

Several scholarships are offered annually to Âé¶¹Éç students who demonstrate outstanding achievements across artistic, academic, and affective domains.
